Randy Nettling, Principal Partner

We work with clients as business partners to help them grow their business by solving their business problems.

Randy is one of the founders of DMA and the developer of MACH software. Randy is personally involved in all client installations and is well-known to customers for his dedication to their successful use of MACH to improve their business processes.

Randy has been involved in more than 300 installations of business software including order processing systems, credit card processing, inventory control, warehouse management, ship manifesting, purchasing, and complete accounting integration.

Randy has a BS in Math and Physics from Denison University, and an MBA in Business from Xavier University. Randy also enjoys working out at the YMCA, reading, listening to music and keeps busy with his wife and their three sons.

Phil is one of the founders of DMA and is the Director of Research and Development.

Larry Maher, VP of Sales & Marketing

I believe in listening to the needs and ideas of clients and being the advocate for the client within DMA.

Larry is in charge of developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts and expanding DMA’s exposure to the multi-channel industry. Larry also develops the yearly DMA User Conference which brings current clients together for three days of training, nationally acclaimed speakers and networking opportunities.

Larry has been in the computer hardware and software business for more than 20 years and has been at DMA since 1998. He first became familiar with DMA in the early eighties when he was introduced to SLICE, a DMA software program that was implemented at nurseries and landscape contractors throughout the US and Canada. Larry observed that the SLICE customers had great respect for the software systems developed by DMA partners Randy and Phil.

Larry has a BA in Social Studies Education from Central Michigan University. He is a worldwide traveler, most recently visiting Ireland, Poland and Guatemala. He enjoys golf, attending pro sports games and working in the community. Larry and his wife have four children and three grandchildren.

George Farnell, VP, Business Development

George is a business advisor to Nettling Potter clients, helping them focus on operational excellence and growing their business.

He has two decades of experience in business development. His most recent position prior to joining Nettling Potter was Vice President for NAFFO, a franchise association serving more than 6,000 franchise locations in the United States and Canada.

George has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Graceland College and a BFA from the University of Cincinnati. He enjoys music, movies and "living life" with his wife and three children.

Sharon Mackzum, Director of Training and Support

Excellent customer support leads to satisfied customers.

Sharon provides support and training to new and existing DMA clients. Sharon mans the MACH help desk solving client questions about all types of issues including, accounting procedures, marketing and financial report writing. She also performs phone and on-site training for new system and peripheral product implementations (such as credit cards and shipping systems).

Sharon has more than 15 years experience working with the MACH software. She has been supporting customers at DMA for almost 10 years and was her previous employer’s System Administrator for MACH.

When she isn’t working, Sharon enjoys walking, biking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Karin Amos, Training and Customer Support

Karin provides support and training to new and existing DMA clients. She assists MACH clients with all types of support issues including new system and product implementations, OS and hardware issues. Karin also produces software documentation, does programming, and network administration.

Karin has more than 14 years experience in IT and support and 7 of that has been working directly with the MACH software. Karin has been with DMA for more than 4 years and she was system administrator for her previous employer who was a MACH customer.

Karin has a BS in Institutional Management from Purdue University and a BS in Management Information Systems from Wright State University. She enjoys gardening, serving as the Girl Scout troop cookie mom and traveling with her husband and two girls.

Kim Woods, Customer Support

Kim provides support and training to new and existing DMA clients. She mans the MACH help desk solving client questions about all types of issues including accounting procedures, marketing and financial report writing. She also develops MACH Software documentation.

Kim was a MACH user at her previous employer and is well versed on the software. She also has almost 20 years experience in vendor relationship management and accounting.

A daughter of missionary parents, Kim grew up in Colombia, Mexico, and Costa Rica. She is fluent in Spanish. Kim, her husband, and two children enjoy breeding and showing Boxer dogs, travel, and NASCAR races.

Michael O’Connor, Senior Programmer

Mike is responsible for programming, technical support and system troubleshooting. He is the lead programmer for the latest browser based MACH software.

Mike has more than 20 years in the Information Technology Industry. Mike has expertise in enterprise architecture and business management software development.

Mike has a BS in Computer Science from University of Kentucky. Mike is an avid hiker and backcountry explorer. He has section hiked more than 1000 miles of the Appalachian Trial and his goal is to complete the trail in the next few years. Mike is married with two children.
